Funding for Southpoint Playground and
Community Recreation Area depends upon donations from the
community. To help us reach our goal, donations in any amount
are greatly needed and appreciated. For your convenience, we
have several easy ways to help make the Southpoint Playground
and Community Recreation Area a reality for the families and
children of Denham Springs.
If you or your family has
experienced the pride of living in our great subdivision you
might consider marking those memories by funding a portion of,
or an entire: bench, picnic table, tree, brick, play structure,
etc.
We all want to make our neighborhood park a safer
and more enjoyable one for all ages and a place that will be an
inviting environment to bring this community together.

Opportunities!
Individuals, businesses and corporations may make tax-deductible
contributions to the Southpoint Playground and Community
Recreation Area at various sponsorship levels. Not
only will it increase name recognition and awareness -- but it
will let families know you support safe learning and play and
you're a contributor to the community and the future of the
children.

Gold $5,000 and up
In
appreciation, thousands of people will see your name identified
on a limited numbered of picnic tables to be installed within
the park; as well as your name or message engraved on an 8"x8"
brick. The donors' Gold level sponsorship will be listed on our
website:

Silver $2,500-$4,999
In appreciation,
families and children at the Southpoint Playground and Community
Recreation Area will see your name
identified on a limited number of park benches within the park;
as well as your message or name engraved on an 8"X8" brick. The
donors' Silver level sponsorship will be listed on our website:

Bronze $1,500-$2,499
In appreciation,
families and children at the Southpoint Playground and Community
Recreation Area will see your name
identified at the base of a tree to be newly planted in the
park; as well as on an 8"x8" brick to be engraved with the
donor's choice of message. The donors' Bronze level sponsorship
will be listed on our website:

Pave the Way! Buy a Brick
For those who would like to
put their support for the construction of the Southpoint
Playground and Community Recreation Area etched in stone, we
offer something quite close: engraved, commemorative bricks that
will be placed within the Southpoint Playground and Community
Recreation Area! Perhaps you have seen bricks like these in the
downtown area or on other playgrounds. These bricks will be used
to make a walkway to and around the new playground.
This is a great way to
celebrate a birthday, special teacher/class, anniversary, or an
accomplishment! Bricks bearing your name, your family's name, or
the message of your choice can be purchased for either $50 or
$100. An art symbol can be added for an additional $10.00. To
purchase a brick, fill out the
BRICK FORM.

The Committee welcomes other areas of donating money or
services including, but not limited to:
- Signage within the Park
- Fencing
- Covered Pavillion
- Design and printing for mailings, distribution at
specific fundraisers
- Sponsoring a particular event/fundraiser
- Materials and labor for construction of the playground
- Food and/or refreshments at any event
- General supplies (paper, banners, invitations)
- Specific Play Equipment and or environments
