On behalf of the Southpoint Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors – we welcome you to
the Neighborhood and our website!
Southpoint Subdivision is
a single-family dwelling subdivision, located off of La. Hwy. 16
South. Just five miles from the Denham Springs exit off of I-12 or
three miles from the Juban Road exit. Southpoint Subdivision is
conveniently located outside of Denham Springs’ city limits,
providing a feel of country living with the benefit of amenities and
services available only minutes down the road.
Southpoint
Homeowner’s Association, Inc. governs all 646 homes in the
subdivision. Southpoint Homeowners’ Association, Inc. is a
non-profit corporation formed under the laws of Louisiana. Articles
of Incorporation and Restrictive Covenants are filed in the official
records of the 21st Judicial District Court for Livingston Parish. A
copy of the Restrictive Covenants is provided in every Welcome
Packet delivered to new homeowners and are to be provided with
the rental agreement for tenants/lessees by the appropriate
landlord/property manager for rentals. A copy of all governing
documents are also conveniently available on this web site.
Southpoint Subdivision is a restrictive covenants subdivision which
is intended to maintain property values within the subdivision.
For this reason, all property owners and renters should be aware of
these restrictions when considering changes to their property, and
in the general daily appearance of their property.
All real estate agents
should acquaint prospective buyers of these restrictions which
become a part of the act of sale for all property transactions in
Southpoint. In addition, property managers or real estate agents
should advise potential lessees/tenants that the restrictions apply
to all residents with no exemptions.
New information is
routinely placed on our website for the convenience of current and
prospective Southpoint Subdivision residents. Please use this site
as a first stop reference to answer many routine questions you may
have. Of course, do not hesitate to contact the Board of Directors
with any specific questions or concerns you may have, or items not
