Point Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors – we welcome you to the
Neighborhood and our website!
New information is
routinely placed on our website for the convenience of current and
prospective South Point Subdivision residents. Please use this site as a
first stop reference to answer many routine questions you may have. Of
course, do not hesitate to contact the Board of Directors with any
specific questions or concerns you may have, or items not already
addressed on our website.
All dues must be paid by June 30, 2008.
Remember - our annual HOA dues are our only source of revenue enabling us
to conduct the business of the neighborhood, pay the bills, maintain and
upgrade our ponds, common areas, etc. To ensure the long term
financial health of our neighborhood, it is important for all
homeowners to pay their annual dues. Liens will be filed on
August 1, 2008, no exceptions, no exemptions. If your dues are
received on August 2nd or later, the lien will already be filed and you
are financially responsible for paying all fees associated with filing and
canceling the lien.
Please note that South Point
Homeowner's Association, Inc. governs the 1st, 2nd, 3rd (part 1), 4th,
5th, 6th, 9th and 10th filings ONLY.
The 3rd filing (part
2), 7th and 8th filings (Lots 152-167, 476-523, and 524-554) within South
Point Subdivision are governed by South Point Subdivision Phase II which
is a separate and independent Homeowner's Association legally established
by D. R. Horton, Inc. and recorded with the Livingston Parish Clerk of
Court as of October 31, 2006. The homes within those filings may be
across the street from residents in the 3rd (part 1) and 4th filings, and
we ask that you please keep in mind that we do not have authority,
responsibility, nor govern those areas.
Lost & Found – should you have an item that needs to be
posted in either category, please email the Board so that the information
can be given to our webmaster for posting. Pictures are permitted and are
helpful in this area.
